Export quota

On March 31, 2017, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy issued a new Notice announcing the incrementation of the quota of sugar allowed to be export to the United States of America. The new total volume allowed to be exported during the period lasting from October 1, 2016, to September 30, 2017, has increased from 870,688.94 MT to 1,042,854.51 MT.

Update
On August 15, 2017, the Mexican Secretariat of Economy announced a new extraordinary amount to export refined sugar to the USA set at 94,285.551 MT (please, see related state acts).
