State loan

On 27 September 2012, the Brazilian Central Bank issued Resolution 4139 announcing the increase of resources allocated to storage from the Coffee Economy Defense Fund ("Funcafé"). The new budget raised from BRL 900 million (circa USD 443) to BRL 1,500 million (USD 738 million).

With this intervention, the total budget allocated to "Funcafé" reached BRL 2,715 million (USD 1,336 million), surpassing the resources allocated in 2011 which reached BRL 2,440 million (USD 1,201 million).
