Pakistan's Director General of Customs Valuation has through Valuation Ruling No 1249/2018 amended the customs values of Inedible Tallow for import valuation purposes as below - 

  • On account of discrepancies and valuation differences between valuation as per the earlier ruling and actual transactions, Indian origin tallow has been removed from the purview of the ruling
  • Customs values for imports from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Qatar has been increased from USD 0.525 to USD 0.58 per kg.
  • Customs value for imports from the Philippines is increased from USD 0.530 to USD 0.585 per kg and from Thailand from USD 0.530 to USD 0.585 per kg.
