In November 2011, the government of Turkey initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and a definitive duty was imposed in November 2012.

On 29 November 2011 the Turkish Ministry of Economy published Communiqué 2011/23, announcing the initiation of anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of vulcanized rubber thread and cord originating in Thailand. The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code subheading: 4007.00.
On 27 November 2012, Turkish authorities imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of the subject good from Thailand. The rate of duty is between 4.37 and 8.75% of the CIF value.
On 21 November 2017, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from Thailand. This follows the application lodged by Elpa Elastiki İplikler Sanayi and İhracat A.Ş. ve Şahin Lateks Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş. The definitive antidumping duty will remain in force for the duration of the investigation.
