Import tariff

On February 4, 2018, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (i.e. CAMEX by its acronym in Portuguese), issued Resolution 5 modifying the List of Exceptions to the Mercosur Common Externa Tariff. The changes lead to the elimination of the applicable import duties set on seven products enclosed under NCM 8431.39.00 and 9508.90.90. The previously applicable import tariff was 14% and 20% respectively.

 
Update
On 25 October 2018, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council has adopted Resolution 82 revoking 124 resolutions including this one.
