Sanitary and phytosanitary measure

Per the ministry decree (number 6934) on 14 June 2009, Saudi Arabia imposed ban on meat imports from the UAE. The specified banned import products are the meats of sheep, cows, goats, buffalo, gazelle, and oryx., and include fresh, cold, frozen and canned meat. The official reason given was the infection of UAE livestock with Apthous Fever.
