Trade finance

The export loan was announced in November 2015 and finances the delivery and construction of 36 wind turbines for the construction of a wind park with a total capacity of 61.2 MW ('Lieferung und Montage von 36 Windkraftanlagen zur Errichtung eines Windparks mit einer Gesamtkapazit?t von 61,2 MW') in Turkey. The benefitting German exporter is an unidentified producer.

The German Eximbank only publishes value ranges for the projects it finances. The present project is in category 2. This category includes projects with a financing value between 16 and 50 million EUR. The GTA assumes the lower bound amount of the respective category, in this case 16 million EUR (17 million USD), as the conservative estimate of the project value.

The maturity of the loan will be 15 years. The financing institution is KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH, Frankfurt.
