On 6 February 2011, the Peruvian authorities initiated a sunset review on the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of cotton denim fabric containing less than 85% of cotton by weight, mixed mainly or solely with synthetic or man-made fibres , weighing over 200 g/m2, from the Republic of China. The definitive duty was originally imposed on 26 July 2006. The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code subheading: 5211.42.00.00.
On 28 July 2011, the Peruvian authorities terminated the above investigation without extending the definitive anti-dumping duties.
