According to the WTO, on February 21, 2017, the Brazilian Government increased temporarily the import tariffs on coffee.

Import tariff

On May 29, 2017, the Permanent Delegation of Brazil to the WTO announced that the government had temporarily increased from 10% to 35% the import tariffs on coffee. The measure entered into force on February 21, 2017, and went out of force on May 31, 2017.
