In November 2017, the Argentinian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain vacuum cleaners with a built-in electric motor from China. The investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties in April 2019.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 7 November 2017. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 8508.11.00 and 8508.19.00. This investigation follows the application lodged by LILIANA S.R.L.

On 9 May 2018, the Argentinian authorities issued Resolution 267/2018 deciding to continue the above investigation without the imposition of provisional duties.

On 23 April 2019, the Argentinian authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of certain vacuum cleaners from China without the imposition of definitive duties.
