In June 2017, the Israeli authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of low voltage copper cables from Turkey. In February 2018, a provisional duty was imposed and in April 2019 a definitive duty was imposed.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 27 June 2017. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 8544.4990.

On 25 February 2018, the Israeli authorities imposed a provisional antidumping duty on imports of low voltage copper cables from Turkey. The rate of duty is 14.5%. The duty is in force until 24 August 2018. The duty was later extended until 23 November 2018.

On 1 April 2019, the Israeli authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of the subject good from Turkey. The rate of duty is between 9.3% and 14.5%. The duty is in force until 31 March 2023.
