In May 2017, the Israeli authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of portland cement from Turkey and Greece. The investigation is still in progress.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 18 May 2017. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2523.29.

On 19 November 2017, the Israeli authorities concluded the preliminary determination and decided to continue the investigation without the imposition of provisional duties.

On 7 April 2019, the Israeli authorities imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of portland cement from Turkey and Greece. The rate of duty on imports from Greece is 0.25%. The rate of duty on imports from Turkey is between 0% and 0.25%. The duty is in force until 6 October 2021.
