On 10 October 2017, the European Commission issued Regulation No. 2017/1835, decreasing the import duty on maize, sorghum and rye from EUR 10.95 (USD 12.94) per tonne to EUR 5.61 (USD 6.63) per tonne. The products subject to import duties are classified under HS code subheadings 1002.10.00, 1002.90.00, 1005.10.90, 1005.90.00, 1007.10.90 and 1007.90.00. On 2 March 2018, the European Commission decreased the imports tariff on the subject goods, see related state act.
