The Government of Argentina modified the list of exceptions to MERCOSUR's Common External Tariff leading to import tariff changes on several tariff lines.

Import tariff

On September 25, 2014, the Government of Argentina issued Decree 1676/2014 modifying the list of exception to MERCOSUR's Common External Tariff. The changes introduced led to the increase of import duties to 20% and 35% on five tariff lines. Previous duties were ranged between 14% and 20% depending on the product. This import tariff change resulted from the exclusion of these tariffs form the list of exceptions to the Common External Tariff (see related state acts).

Import tariff

On September 25, 2014, the Government of Argentina issued Decree 1676/2014 modifying the list of exception to MERCOSUR's Common External Tariff. The changes introduced led to the decrease of import duties to values ranging between 0% and 16% on five tariff lines. Previous duties were set at 35%. This import tariff change resulted from the exclusion of these tariffs form the list of exceptions to the Common External Tariff (see related state acts).
