Import tariff

On October 24, 2012, the Permanent Delegation of Ecuador to the WTO announced the reduction of import tariffs to their bound level on municipal waste, sewage sludge, and semi-chemical fluting paper; line pipe of a kind used for oil or gas pipelines; certain meat and edible meat offal, fresh, chilled or frozen; and ceramic pipes, conduits, guttering and pipe fittings, and other cartridges and parts thereof. The new import duties have been set at 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% respectively.
