October 26th, 2010 - China's Ministry of Finance announced it would retroactively (from June 1st, 2010) exempt certain parts from import taxes in an interim update to a wider series of State Acts.

Import tariff

In October 2010, the Chinese Ministry of Finance announced it would exempt certain items from import tariffs in Tax Announcement No.50/2010. Items include various gaskets, electrodes, pumps and other parts for use in 'large technical equipment'. See taxonomy details for more information.
