Export tax

On 1 August 2017, the export duty on crude palm oil was decreased to 5.5% for the month of August. Prior to August 2017, the duty had temporarily been set at 6.5% for a period of one month, see related measure.

The Malaysian authorities decided to extend the above duty for the month of September.
