Anti-dumping

On 27 July 2011 the European Commission issued a notice of initiation of anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of tartaric acid from a Chinese company called Hangzhou Bioking. The complaint was lodged on 15 June 2011 by Distillerie Bonollo SpA, Industria Chimica Valenzana SpA, Distilleria Mazzari SpA, Caviro Distillerie S.r.l. and Comercial Quimica Sarasa s.l. representing more than 50 % of the total production of tartaric acid in the European Union.
 On 4 June 2012 the Commission issued a notice of termination of the proceeding without the imposition of duties.
