Import tariff

On December 2, 2014, the Colombian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism issued Decree 2432 including to the list of raw materials and capital goods not produced locally and thus temporarily exempted from import duties two new tariff lines (2924.29.40.00 and 2933.71.00.00). Previously applicable import duties on these tariff lines were set at 5%.

 

List of raw materials and capital goods not produced locally exempted of import tariffs

On August 15, 2013, the Colombian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism issued Decree 1755/2013 establishing a list of raw materials and capital goods not produced locally exempted temporarily of import tariffs. The products removed from the list go back to the previous import-duty regime set on Decree 4927/2011.

Import tariff

On December 2, 2014, the Colombian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism issued Decree 2432 removing seven tariffs lines from the list of raw materials and capital goods not produced locally and thus temporarily exempted from import duties. The new import duty has been set as established in Decree 4927/2011 with values of 5% and 10% depending on the product.
