Financial grant

On February 28, 2011 the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development reached a deal to provide incentives to Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. It consisted of $11 million from the FastTrack Infrastructure Development Program, which funds infrastructure improvements, and $278,000 in the FastTrack Job Training Assistance Program, an initiative to support industrial recruitment and expansion through direct training assistance for newly hired employees, employees in upgraded positions, and employees retained through instruction.
