According to the World Trade Organisation, the government of Turkey on 15 May 2009, increased the import tariffs on certain cereals.

Import tariff

According to the World Trade Organisation, the government of Turkey on 15 May 2009, increased the import tariffs on wheat, melsin, rye, oat and buckwheat from 80% to 130%.

 

By virtue of the EU-Turkey Customs Union Agreement of December 22, 1995, the tariffs do not apply to products from EU member states.
