In June 2017, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of 3-Phenoxy Benzaldehyde from India. In February 2018, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 8 June 2017. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 2912.49.90. This investigation follows the application lodged on 22 May 2017 by Weifang Runnong Chemical Co., Ltd.

On 8 February 2018, the Chinese authorities imposed a provisional duty on imports of 3-Phenoxy Benzaldehyde from India. The rate of duty is between ad valorem 36.2% and 56.9% of the dutiable value depending on the company.
