The Government of Argentina eliminated the references prices set on honey exported to several locations in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and the Middle East.

On May 2, 2017, the Argentine Federal Public Revenue Administration passed Resolution General 4038-E eliminating the criterion values for exports of honey (HS Code 0409.00.00). The previously established reference prices corresponded to a FOB value ranging from USD 2.20 to USD 2.40 per kilogramme.
The countries were these reference prices previously applied were the following: South Korea, North Korea, China, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam, Finland, Hungary, Israel, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Russian Federation, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, United States of America, Canada, and Portugal.
On 27 November 2017, the Argentina Federal Administration of Public Revenue eliminated all reference values on exports (please, see related state acts).
