In May 2017, the Turkish authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain glass fibre reinforcement materials from Egypt. The investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties in September 2018.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 14 May 2017 (Notification 2017/11). The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 7019.11.00.00.00, 7019.12.00.00.00, 7019.19.10.00.00, 7019.19.90.00.00, 7019.31.00.00.00, 7019.90.00.10.00 and 7019.90.00.30.00. This investigation follows the application lodged by Cam Elyaf Sanayii A.Ş.

On 28 September 2018, the Turkish authorities terminated the antidumping investigation on imports of certain glass fibre reinforcement materials from Egypt without the imposition of duties. No duties were imposed as the investigation concluded that the subject good from Egypt was not dumped and did not cause any material injury to the domestic industry.
