Local operations

On 20 July 2011, local Shanghai government released the document called "Several Opinions on Further Strengthening Administration on International Educational Exhibitions in Shanghai" (HuJiaoWeiWai NO.85 '2011', the 'Opinions').
 
In accordance with these "Opinions", foreign institutions and foreign educational institutions will be prohibited from holding any international educational exhibition in Shanghai. If foreign institutions and foreign educational institutions intend to hold educational exhibitions in Shanghai, they are encouraged find a local Chinese partner and jointly hold the exhibitions with their Chinese partners.
 
So in accordance with these "Opinions", foreign institutions' exhibition business will be greatly affected. Although these "Opinions" were released on the Shanghai government website on July 20, Shanghai government announced these "Opinions" shall come into effect since 12 July 2011.
