Import tariff

On November 11, 2014, the Federal Public Income Administration of Argentina passed the General Resolution 3696 updating the list of criterion values (i.e. valores criterio) for imports of synthetic trousers. The updated criterion values list corresponds to a FOB value ranging between USD 4.40 and USD 26.82 per unit. The previous import criterion value was set at a FOB value of USD 17.50 per unit. 

The updated list of criterion values for imports introduced in 2014 refer to the following countries: South Korea, North Korea, China, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Viet Nam, Mauritius, Macao, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.

Import tariff

The updated criterion values list eliminated some jurisdictions were the previous import criterion value, set at a FOB value of USD 17.50 per unit, applied.

The countries affected by this modification were Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
