Import tariff

On May 4, 2017, the Argentinian Government established criterion values for imports of pork (HS Codes 0203.29.00 and 0210.19.00). The established criterion values correspond to a FOB value ranging from USD 3.65 to USD 8.00 per kilogramme. Previously, there were no import criterion values assigned to these goods.

The list of criterion values for imports introduced in 2017 refers to the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal.

Update
On 4 February 2019, the Federal Administration for Public Revenue of Argentina has adopted General Resolution 4413/2019 increasing the applicable reference price set on NCM 0210.19.00. The new legislation enters into force on 5 February 2019 (please, see related state acts).

The list of criterion values for imports introduced in 2017 refer to the following countries: Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
