December 19th, 2014 - China announced its new roster of processing trade items banned from export/import.

On the 19th of December 2014, a joint release from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs promulgated the new list of processing trade items that were banned from export and/or import from China.
268 products were newly added to the list of those not allowed out of the PRC.
In total, 1538 commodities were banned from export out of the PRC. Includes:
On the 19th of December 2014, the Chinese Ministry of Finance and General Administration of Customs jointly announced a new version of the list of items relating to the processing trade that were banned from export and/or import.
The new 2015 edition saw 173 products newly banned from import.
In total, 415 commodities were banned from import into the PRC. Includes:
In addition to the new bans listed above, 196 products had their export bans lifted.
Finally, the 2015 catalogue revealed that 72 items would have their import bans removed.
