In April 2016, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of vinylidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer resin from Japan. Provisional antidumping duties were imposed in January 2017.

Anti-dumping

The antidumping investigation was initiated on 20 April 2017. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheading: 3904.50.00. 

On 20 January 2017, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China imposed a provisional antidumping duty on imports of chloride-vinyl chloride copolymer resin from Japan. The rate of duty is 47.1% ad valorem.
