Anti-dumping

On July 21, 2011, the Argentinian Ministry of Economy and Public Finance decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of poly(vinyl chloride), not mixed with any other substances, from the United States of America (Resolution 461/2011, 21.07.2011).
The product subject to investigation is classified under the following HS code: 3904.1010.
The complaint was lodged by Solvay Indupa S.A.I.C. The investigation started on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on August 3, 2011.
On May 30, 2012, the Argentinian Ministry of Economy and Public Finance decided to continue the investigation without imposing a provisional anti-dumping duty (Resolution 54/2012, 30.05.2012).
On February 1, 2013, the Argentinian authorities decided to terminate the investigation without imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty (Resolution 14/2013, 01.02.2013).
