Anti-dumping

On 6 October 2010, the European Commission initiated a sunset review of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of trichloroisocyanuric acid originating in China. On 31 December 2011, the European Council extended the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from China. The rate of duty is between 3.2% and 42.6% of the net free-at-Union-frontier price before duty depending on the company.

On 20 December 2016, the European Commission initiated a sunset review on imports of the subject good from China. This follows the application lodged on 30 September 2016 by Ercros S.A. and Inquide S.A.
