On March 28, 2011, the Government of Argentina introduced reference prices applicable to the importation of glass fiber fabrics. The product subject to this measure is classified under the following tariff line of MERCOSUR's Harmonized System: 7019.52.90. The reference price is set at USD 3.68 per kg (free on board) and directed at goods imported from the following countries: Republic of Korea, DPRK, China, The Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
These reference prices entered into force on March 30, 2011.
Argentina introduced reference values of precautionary nature forimported goods inJune2005(inSpanish:valorescriteriodecarácterpreventivo).Thestatedpurpose is tostrengthencustomscontrolandpreventunder-invoicing.
