Import tariff

On March 11, 2011, the Government of Argentina introduced reference prices applicable to the importation of water and juice dispensing equipment from China and other Asian countries. The product subject to this measure is classified under the following tariff line of MERCOSUR's Harmonized System: 8418.69.31.
 
These reference prices entered into force on March 15, 2011.
 
Argentina introduced reference values of precautionary nature forimported goods inJune2005(inSpanish:valorescriteriodecar√°cterpreventivo).Thestatedpurpose is tostrengthencustomscontrolandpreventunder-invoicing.
