Anti-dumping

On 21 January 2011 Pakistan initiated an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of soda ash originating from Kenya.
The case was challenged in court and, on court's direction, it was initiated again on the 26th of September 2011.
On June 8, 2012 a provisional duty was imposed of 19.82%.
The Lahore High Court has stayed the Commission's final determination.
