On June 9, 2010, the Israeli authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of non-woven floor and cleaning cloths from Germany.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 6307.1000. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.
On February 27, 2011, the Israeli authorities decided to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of non-woven floor and cleaning cloths from Germany. The rate of the duty ranges from 52.2% to 74.9%, depending on the company. This duty entered into force on March 15, 2011.
No further discussion was held after August 29, 2012 and no levy was imposed.
