Import tariff

On 1 January 2011, the government of the Republic of Korea temporarily lowered import tariffs on selected wheat products. According to consistent press reports, the import tariff on milling wheat has been reduced to zero, that on flour has been reduced from 4.2 to 2.5 percent.
 
The lower tariffs shall be effective until 30 June 2011.
