Import tariff

On 5 November 2010, the Government of Colombia published Decree 4115 that reduces the Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duties applicable to products classified under 78 ten-digits tariff lines of Chapter 87.

The changes implemented decreased the import duties by a percentage ranging between 5% and 20%. The new import tariffs were reduced from values ranging between 10% and 35% to values ranging between 5% and 15%.
 
These amendments entered into force on 5 November 2010.

Import tariff

Decree 4115 adopted on 5 November 2010 by the Government of Colombia also increased the import duties on 4 ten-digits tariff lines of Chapter 87. The affected HS Codes were 8708.40.10.00, 8711.20.00.00, 8711.30.00.00 and 8711.40.00.00.

The new import tariffs have increased from 5% and 20% to 10% and 30% respectively.
 
These amendments entered into force on 5 November 2010.
