On December 15 2010, the Government of Argentina, by Resolution 2994/2010, published reference prices on pottery dinner sets and similar goods (except for porcelain) from Brazil, Colombia, chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Canada, United States, Mexico, Republic of Korea, China, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.
 
The reference prices were effective from 17 December 2010 to 8 April 2012 (see "Related Measures").
 
Argentina introduced reference values of precautionary nature forimportedgoodsinJune2005(inSpanish:valorescriteriodecar√°cterpreventivo).Thestatedpurpose istostrengthencustomscontrolandpreventunder-invoicing.
