Anti-dumping

On December 13, 2010, the Argentinian authorities decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of certain glass wool products from Mexico (Resolution 241/2010, 13.12.2010).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 7019.3900.
The complaint was lodged by Saint Gobain Isover Argentina S.A. The investigation started on the day following the publication of the resolution in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic, i.e. on December 17, 2010.
 
On June 14, 2012, the Argentinian authorities decided to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the investigated products (Resolution 297/2012, 14.06.2012).
The rate of the definitive duty is 112.57% of the declared FOB price. This definitive anti-dumping duty entered into force on the day of the signature of the resolution, i.e. on June 14, 2012, and is applicable for a period of five years. Resolution 297/2012 was published in the Official Journal of the Argentinian Republic on June 21, 2012.
