NUMBER OF INTERVENTIONS
Camex Resolution N? 80 from November 10th 2010. Available at:
The Brazilian government implemented a new regime regarding non-preferential rules of origin.
The new non-preferential rules of origin establish that when materials or inputs originating from other countries are used and the manufacturing process consists only of assembling, selecting, fractioning, diluting or packing, the product will not be considered as originating from that country, even if these operations alter the product classification at 4 digits.
This measure was designed to avoid initiatives to evade anti-dumping duties.
