The Ministry of Finance regulation 19/2009 raised import tariffs on certain products that compete with locally manufactured products. The product affected are packaged juices(10 to 15%), instant coffee (5 to 10%), iron wire (7.5 to 10%), wire nails (0 to 7.5%) and electrical and non-electrical milling machines (0 to 7.5%).
The Decree was adopted on 13 February 2009.
The tariffs for processed milk products were revised on 28 May 2009 (cf. Related state acts).
The regulation 19/PMK.011/2009 by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance reduced the tariff rates for a number of products. As all of them were increased later again, this intervention is no longer classified as implemented.
The regulation came into force on 13 February 2009.
