Import tariff

On September 2nd, 2010, the Brazilian government announced its decision to remove the product 6-Hexanelactam (epsilon-caprolactam), classified under the code 2933.71.00 ofthe Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM), from its list of exceptions. The tariff will be maintained at the level of 2% for more 12 months.
 
The Brazilian government also announced a new quota of 45,000 tons for the product. This decision was implemented for reasons of shortage, under the Resolution No. 69/00 of the Common Market Group of Mercosur.
