Export tax

On June 26, 2009, the Russian Government has issued Decree 536,which regulates the export tariffs on the following crude oil and oil products: crude oil (HS 2709), non-crude oil products: light distillates, medium distillates, gas oils, liquid fuels, oils, waste oils (HS 2710), propane, butanes, ethylene, propylene, butylene and butadiene, other liquefied gases (HS 2711), petroleum jelly, mineral waxes & similar products (HS 2712), petroleum coke, petroleum bitumen & other residues (HS 2713),benzene, toluene, xylenes (HS 2902). The Decree regulates the increase of export tariffs on crude oil by 39%, on non-crude oil, petroleum jelly, mineral waxes and similar products, petroleum coke and cyclic hydrocarbons by 35% from 2006 levels.
