In December 2009, the government of Thailand initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. A definitive duty was imposed in June 2011. In May 2017, the duty was terminated following the conclusion of a sunset review.

Anti-dumping

On 3 December 2009, the Thai authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of unglazed or glazed ceramic flags and paving, hearth or wall tiles and unglazed or glazed ceramic mosaic cubes and the like (whether or not on the backing) originating from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code subheadings: 6907.10, 6907.90, 6908.10, and 6908.90.
 
On 2 June 2011, the Thai authorities imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the subject good from China. The rate of duty is between 2.18% and 35.49%.
 
On 31 May 2016, the Thai authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping measure imposed on the subject good from China.

On 31 May 2017, the Thai authorities terminated the definitive duty on imports of the subject good from China following the conclusion of the above sunset review.
