Import tariff

On 6 June 2010, the government of Pakistan lowered and reduced import tariffs for certain specialized equipment.
Imports of machinery such as rice whiteners and milk filters may now enter the country duty free.
Imports of machinery such as LPGĀ dispensers, road sweeping lorries or pyranometers may now enter the country at a reduced duty of 5 percent.
