By virtue of General Resolution 1924 of 11 August 2005, and with the purpose of strengthening customs controls, Argentine Federal Agency of Public Income (AFIP) limited the points of entry for certain categories of goods. In that opportunity, goods included in this special regime comprised textiles, shoes and toys.
On 29 January 2010, the General Customs Division passed new legislation, adding several new tariff positions to the regime (note: only tariff positions added in this new legislation have been included in this reported measure).
