Import tariff

On April 23rd, 2010, the Brazilian government announced tariff reduction on the ad-valorem import duty from 20% to 0% for ethanol classified under the codes 2207.10.00 and 2207.20.10 of the Mercosur Common Nomenclature (NCM).
 
According to the data of 2009, the year prior to the liberalization, Brazil imported less than the GTA threshold of 1'000'000 USD per tariff line from bilateral trading partners. Hence, no bilateral trading partners are enumerated.

Update
On 25 October 2018, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council has adopted Resolution 82 revoking 124 resolutions including this one.
