NUMBER OF INTERVENTIONS
In a Federal Register notice published on December 12, 2016 (Vol. 81 No. 238) the Federal Transit Administration announced that, in response to Buy America waiver requests from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, it had waived its Buy America requirements for the procurement of equipment to replace what was damaged at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub project during Hurricane Sandy in 2012. This waiver thus covers a wide range of sectors and potential suppliers.
