Public procurement localisation

On April 23, 2012 the Federal Aviation Administration issued a memorandum notifying the public that the Office of Airports Financial Assistance Division waived Buy American Preference requirements for certain light emitting diode (LED) airfield lighting and navigational aid equipment. The memorandum did not identify which countries might supply the item in question.
Trade statistics provided by UN Comtrade did not reveal any trading partners on the identified prodcut with trade above the GTA de minimis threshold of USD 1 million. Thus, no affected trading partners have been identified.
