Import tariff

On 23 May 2016, the government of Argentina introduced an updated list of criterion values for imports of other string musical instruments (HS Code 9202.90.00).
The updated criterion values for imports correspond to a FOB Value ranging from USD 27 to USD 136 per unit. The previous import criterion values corresponded to FOB value of USD 10.80 per kg.
 
The updated list of criterion values for imports introduced in 2016, refer to the following countries: South Korea, North Korea, China, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam.
 
Following the GTA de minimis rule, only trading partners with imports to Argentina exceeding USD 1 million are listed as affected.
 
Nota Bene : Due to the change of the measurement unit from 'per kg' (previous criterion values) to 'per unit' (current criterion values), this measure is clasiffied as Amber.
